DEATH LODGE

A Deeply Healing Personal Ritual in The Forest
on this auspicious Blood Moon - including a partial Lunar Eclipse during the Night

This event is intended as a release and healing ritual. 

It is practice in which you sit alone at twilight in a circle of stones and talk to the

spirit or soul of people with whom you have ‘unfinished business’.

Why is it Called a Death Lodge?

It is called a “Death Lodge” so as to imagine it is your final day on Earth and you wish to resolve issues here before passing on to the next world.  Now, in your current timeline, it can help clear karmic energy or remove issues that are holding you back.

Advance preparation is essential and a clear understanding of the practice so guidance will be given before, during and after.

We meet at dusk at the Hinterland Shelter around a fire to invoke the Directions and Elemental Kingdom and set an intention.  You then make your way into the forest to find a private individual space where you create a protective medicine circle with small rocks or crystals you have brought.

There is ritual in this process which will be explained in advance and I will be holding space for everyone by the sacred fire with the Mother Drum throughout.  You sit alone inside this circle to carry out the practice.

The Practice

Prior to the experience you think about what you will work with during the evening. You will also collect rocks, select crystals, herbs or flowers which you wish as part of your protection circle (I will have extras if needed)

 

We gather together around a sacred fire, discuss the process, invoke protection from the other realms and set personal intentions. You then leave to create your medicine circle and work within it.

 

In this practice you are working soul to soul with those with whom you have unfinished business – these can be people who are currently on this plane or those who may have passed over.  The circle is your boundary and safe place in which you settle and call the spirit or soul of these people one by one to the edge of your circle to dialogue. At no time do you permit anyone to come inside your circle and you only call for one person at a time. 

More explanation will be given on this once you sign up and lots of guidance for this practice will be given prior and during the event.

POTENTIAL SITUATIONS WITH WHICH YOU CAN WORK

  • If you haven’t expressed yourself to a person as you may have wanted to. That can be love, anger,

  • frustration, doubt etc etc…. This is your chance to share your feelings.

  • If there exists an unresolved issue between you and another person

  • If you want to apologise for something you have done and not sorted or to seek forgiveness.

  • If you want forgive them for something that happened.

  • If you just wish to talk with them.

The conversation finishes when you feel it is complete. You thank them for the lesson they taught you

and send them from your circle with Love.  You can then move on to somebody else.

When you are complete you thank the Spirits who have worked with you, close your space and collect your rocks then return to the fire.
