COMMUNITY GARDEN EVENTS

Reigniting the Joy & Love through our Human Presence in this Beautiful Space

MONDAY EVENTS

DESPACHO CEREMONY OF GRATITUDE

Mon 20th May 4 -5 pm

The Despacho – A Peruvian Ceremony of Gratitude

Despacho means ‘despatching’ and in this instance it is our prayers – prayers of release, manifesting or gratitude.  We blow our prayers into leaves then ‘feed’ them with offerings as we give thanks to Pachamama or Mother Earth. It is an act of love and a reminder of the connections we share with all beings, elements, spirits, and sacred places. At the deepest level, it is an opportunity to enter into ONENESS with Nature.

Wolf Wisdom Meditation with Cinzia

Mayan Cosmology Practice

Wednesday 22nd 12:30 to 1:30 pm

In the Mayan tradition the wolf represents fairness and balance, it helps us make order in our thoughts and in our heart without judgment, facilitating the gentle rising of self reflection and honesty, bringing closure when needed and opening the inner landscape for clarity and trust. Come join us at this lunchtime meditation to relax, expand and learn a little bit about the extraordinary tradition of the Mayan people. We start with a greeting to the spirit of the wolf, enter a guided meditation and at the end we can share our experience and talk about the wisdom teachings of the wolf in mayan cosmology.
