HEALING & MANIFESTING THROUGH MASKS (2 sessions) £20 incl

We will be using the process of building our mask with strips of plaster of paris bandage and, while it is drying, journey on negativity / issues / limiting beliefs etc which we wish to release during the powerful moment of mask birthing or removal.
We awaken the masks and then smudge them to clear negativity before taking them home and decorating them to bring back on
25th Jan. It is possible to decorate your mask here at Cailleachby arrangement if you have no materials at home.
When we create a mask on our own face it is like part of us and reflects the essence of our soul. As we create it so we can release into the mask our limiting beliefs and past wounds. As the mask dries on our face we can journey and send more of our issues into this 2nd skin that is about to be removed. We very slowly release and draw the mask from our face in a powerful moment of personal healing. Carefully, we dry the mask and look into our own eye sockets before us and let go of what isn’t serving us. We smudge and clear the mask then awaken it into the dawn of our new lifestyle. It is wrapped in cloth and taken home to work with for two weeks until it is cleared and decorated to reflect what you now wish to embody.
On the 2nd session you bring your painted /decorated mask wrapped in cloth into the circle again and each of us individually unwraps and puts our mask on in the circle to be seen and witnessed by the group. We describe what our mask means to us and how we will integrate these changes in our lives culminating in celebration of our rebirth.
RELEASE OF THINGS WHICH DON’T SERVE US
In the first session, our aim is to pinpoint through meditation or journeying, just what is holding us back from embracing our true path or achieving our goals. As we build our masks we hold this in our consciousness and allow negative issues to come forward into the mask. It’s a powerful moment when we removed this mask from our face. You can work with your mask afterwards as much as you wish at home prior to re-creating it with intention. You must remember to clear / smudge it after the release part is complete( I will give you sage to take away to do this)
CREATING THE NEW EMPOWERED YOU THROUGH THE MASK
Using whatever mediums are available, decorate your blank mask to represent a rebirth of your soul into your empowered self. Stick things on or paint it and as you do work with personal affirmations to empower it.
Think of some of the following:

What is my true essence and how can I incorporate it into the mask.

Ask for colours, symbols, words that you can use.

The mask can reflect your dreams in whatever way is symbolic for you.
EMBODYING YOUR MASK
In our 2nd session, you bring your decorated mask wrapped in its cloth and, in Ceremony, we each reveal and put on our new ‘self’ and turn so we are ‘seen’ and witnessed by the circle. We talk about our mask and what it means and move together in our masks to embody our essence.
